Paladin Woodworking
Maine — Est. 2020
A one-person workshop that built a table the tabletop world couldn't ignore — and then built a brand around what happened next.
#1 on r/all
April 2020
The post that started everything
One morning Scott posted Durin's Anvil to the D&D subreddit. By the end of the day it had reached #1 on the front page of Reddit — r/all — seen by millions of people who had never heard of a gaming table before.
The response was overwhelming. The inquiries were immediate. And everything that followed started with that single post
The visit
Wyrmwood drove to Maine
When Doug and Jason from Wyrmwood — one of the most respected names in tabletop gaming — heard about the table, they didn't send an email. They drove to Maine.
The visit became one of Wyrmwood's most watched “wyrmlyfe” videos ever. Scott went on to work with the Wyrmwood team on developing a full RPG tracking system for DND which was sold through Kickstarter.
The partnership
Built to travel
The inquiries after Reddit made one thing clear — people everywhere were interested in this table. Scott knew that building and shipping tables from a workshop in Maine wasn't the answer. Geeknson, a UK-based manufacturer already known for premium gaming tables, had followed the table's rise. The partnership was a natural fit — Paladin's design and story, Geeknson's craft and reach. Today Durin's Anvil ships worldwide.
